These terms govern your use of Redirect Shark, a hosted redirect service operated by AdShark Marketing ("AdShark", "we", "us"). By creating an account, or by accessing or using the service or this website as a customer or on a customer's behalf, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policyis incorporated into these terms by reference. These terms do not apply to visitors who merely follow a redirect served from a customer's domain. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, you represent that you can bind that company to these terms.
1. The service
Redirect Shark lets you configure, test, and serve HTTP redirects for domains you control. You point DNS records for a domain at our infrastructure; we terminate TLS and serve the redirect rules you configure, along with related analytics.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old. One free organization per customer — we may consolidate or suspend duplicates. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country or on a restricted-parties list, and that you will comply with applicable export and sanctions laws.
3. Your domains and content
You may only onboard domains you own or are authorized to manage, and we may ask you to demonstrate control of a domain at any time (and pause it until you do). You retain all rights to your domains and redirect configurations; you grant us the limited rights needed to host and serve them. You are responsible for the destinations your redirects point to. You acknowledge that serving redirects means we process your visitors' request data (such as IP addresses and requested URLs) to operate the service and provide you analytics; any privacy disclosures you owe your own visitors are your responsibility.
The service itself — the software, design, and infrastructure — is ours; your subscription is a right to use it, not ownership of it, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data (never your identifiable configurations) to operate and improve the service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- redirect visitors to phishing, malware, or otherwise harmful or deceptive destinations;
- cloak, misrepresent, or conceal the destination of a link for deceptive purposes;
- infringe others' rights or violate any applicable law;
- onboard domains you do not control;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service or other customers' use of it;
- resell, sublicense, or white-label the service to third parties (managing domains on behalf of your own clients is fine);
- circumvent plan limits, metering, or access controls; reverse engineer the service; or access it by automated means other than its documented interfaces.
Because redirects share infrastructure, abuse by one customer can harm deliverability and reputation for everyone. We may suspend or remove domains that violate this section, immediately and without notice where necessary.
The destinations customers point their redirects at are their content, not ours — we do not review, control, or endorse them. To report abuse on a domain we serve, email [email protected]; we aim to review reports promptly and take action where appropriate.
5. Plans, billing, and limits
Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through Stripe, our payment processor, and renew automatically each billing period until you cancel — which you can do in-app at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Upgrades are prorated. Fees are exclusive of taxes: you are responsible for applicable sales, use, and similar taxes, and we are responsible for taxes on our income.
Plans include capacity limits (domains and monthly requests). For plan limits, a "domain" is a hostname you onboard together with its www counterpart; each additional onboarded hostname (such as a separate subdomain) counts as its own domain. Request caps are soft: if you exceed them, our normal practice is to contact you about upgrading rather than interrupting live redirects. We are not obligated to continue serving traffic above your plan's limits, and we may enforce limits where usage is abusive or threatens service stability.
Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; amounts already paid are non-refundable except where these terms say otherwise.
If payment fails, we allow a grace period (at least seven days) before restricting service, and we make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example by email) before your redirects stop being served for non-payment. Keeping a working email address on your account is your responsibility. While service is restricted for non-payment or suspended under these terms, we may serve a temporary notice or error page (such as an HTTP 503 response) on affected domains in place of your redirects.
6. Early access
Redirect Shark is a young product in active development. Features may change, be added, or be discontinued as the service evolves; where a change materially reduces paid functionality we will use reasonable efforts to give you advance notice, and if we discontinue a paid service we will refund any prepaid, unused amounts. Keep your own copy of your redirect maps (the service supports CSV import and export) — do not treat the service as your only record of them.
Prices may change; existing subscribers get reasonable advance notice before a price change applies to them. Free plans may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice (the refund commitments above apply to paid plans).
7. Availability and support
The redirect engine is designed to run independently of the management dashboard, so redirects can continue serving even when the dashboard is unavailable. This is a design goal, not a guarantee: the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless you have a separate written agreement with us that includes one.
We provide support on a reasonable-efforts basis, without guaranteed response times. Support, onboarding help, and guidance are practical assistance with using the service — not professional SEO, legal, or other consulting — and decisions about your domains, DNS, and redirect maps remain yours. If we make changes in your account at your request (for example importing or editing rules, or configuring a domain), you are responsible for reviewing them, and they are treated as your configuration once live. The disclaimers and liability limits in these terms apply to support and assistance the same as to the service itself. Professional services beyond product support (such as agency-managed migrations) are governed by a separate agreement.
8. Search rankings
Redirect Shark ships with SEO-conscious defaults (such as single-hop redirects and 404 responses for unmatched paths), but search engines are outside our control. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or any particular search outcome.
9. Termination
You can cancel at any time in-app; your domains stop being served at the end of the paid period unless you remove them earlier. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also terminate any account for convenience with reasonable notice; if we do and you are not in breach, we will refund prepaid, unused amounts. On termination we make reasonable efforts to keep your redirect rules exportable for at least 30 days; after that window we may delete your data. Amounts accrued before termination remain payable.
You are responsible for updating your DNS when a domain is removed or your account ends; after that point we may stop responding for the hostname entirely, and we are not responsible for traffic sent to our infrastructure by DNS records you have not updated.
10. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify AdShark against claims arising from your domains, the destinations your redirects point to, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law. We will notify you promptly of any such claim; you may control the defense with our reasonable cooperation (at your expense), and you may not settle a claim that imposes obligations on us without our consent.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of misconfigurations, or that any particular traffic, ranking, or business outcome will result from using it.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdShark will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, traffic, rankings, search visibility, data, or goodwill — including losses arising from downtime or unavailability, misconfiguration (whether in your configuration or our handling of it), DNS or TLS issues, platform errors, or suspension under these terms — under any theory of liability, whether contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
To the same extent, our total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the first claim or one hundred US dollars (US $100), whichever is greater. If any part of this section is held unenforceable, it applies to the greatest extent permitted by law and the remainder stays in force.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you (for example by email or in-app) before it takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
14. General
These terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the service. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may provide notices electronically (by email or in-app), and such notices satisfy any requirement for written notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including indemnification, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — survive. We may identify you by name and logo as a customer in our marketing unless you ask us not to. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it, and remedies are cumulative. The parties are independent contractors; these terms create no partnership, agency, or employment relationship, and there are no third-party beneficiaries.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.
